What should one do to correct assymetrical jaws? - Dr Vijaya Raghava Reddy
Показать описание
If the jaw is asymmetrical, the probabilities of them having a functional deformity will also be existing. So first we have to assess what kind of asymmetry, whether the asymmetry is because of the bone or because of the soft tissue. If it is because of the bone, only a fat augmentation or fillers can be done. If it is because of the bone, then patients will also have a problem with their occlusions. So first we have to assess the occlusion deformities that we have in the patient. So first we have to correct the occlusional deformity as well as the bony deformity either by doing a surgery or of there is no functional deformities, the easiest way is to place a customised implant.
