I remember granma sending me to the "tortilleria" to get fresh warm tortillas that cost 5 pesos a kilo, that was around 50 american cents during that time (late 90s). Walking in you could hear the machines making that rollers sound. Great memories. Chilaquiles, migas, tacos, everything has tortilla. Corn or flour.
