I live in Jacksonville Florida and use this route daily! It's so much better than what was there before! Whoop whoop we made it on a list🎉

It’s nice to hear you appreciate the architecture of these intersections. Hachikos story made me tear up! Such loyalty

Fun Fact: "Spaghetti Junction" in the UK also became a common UK derogatory/negative phrase to describe a mess/untidy group of wires, tracks or long "lines" of any kind.

"The wiring in that house looks like Spaghetti Junction!"

I love the high five in Dallas. I live in Fort Worth, right next to Dallas but often go there. One day, a couple of months after I got married, I was taking my wife to Dallas for the Irish Festival. I didn't know it but she had a thing about heights, and as I exited I-20 on to the High Five and began climbing, she freaked out! It really is high and being that traffic was slow she panicked and got out of the car and began walking. I talked her back into the car and we eventually got back to ground level. Needless to say, I took another route home.

A few were in the most difficult road one a few days ago but still I always like these videos. Plus (just saying) I really like the bit in spaghetti junction where he says "All in all it is believed to be safe to drive on 'which is nice'" I like how he says it. 😆🤣

12:09 I grew up and went to elementary and high school in the community (Hamilton Park) to the mid right of the picture. Northeast Dallas, TX. Above the community is Texas Instruments (upper right), those white square tops and parking lot. Texas Instruments was also to the left of the "High Five" freeway. The school below the oval football field and track was grades 1-12! It is only an elementary school now.

It is shame you couldn't cast your eyes south of the equator. In Sydney, we have two spaghetti junctions, one of them is even built entirely underground and is a about to get even more complicated. The trick to get through them is to just follow the signs, making the journey easier.

The Shibuya crossing even shows up in the video game Persona 5...dog statue included.

The one in Jacksonville FL should be sinkhole proof really good.

Arc de Triumph is being changed as part of the building of 1, 500 Kms of cycle lanes across Paris. The Champs Elysee is being reconstructed now.

For sheer complexity, the interchanges in New York City and nearby New Jersey beat all of the examples given. The interchanges of I95 on either side of Manhattan, the linked triad of NJ Turnpike interchanges 10 and 11 with the Garden State Parkway's Interchange 129, the ring of interchanges surrounding Newark Airport, the Bruckner Interchange ... the list rolls on.

Regarding Shibuya crossing, under the intersection is a large shopping complex extending through the basement floors of the surrounding buildings. You can see some of the entrances at the corners of the intersection, they are the stairways down.

The High Five Interchange is the tallest highway interchange at its peak at 120 ft. A fifth ramp is a reversible HOV lane as you can see.

A particularity of Arc de Triomphe / place de l'étoile, is that unlike most runabouts in Paris regions, here priority is to those who enter the crossing, not to those already on it. Many many inexperienced drivers try to avoid place de l'étoile at all cost.

They have turbine interchanges in Kuwait. Surprised to see that the Golden Glades Interchange in Miami-Dade County, FL didn't make the list. That interchanges connects I-95, Florida's Turnpike, US 441, SR 826 (aka Palmetto Expressway) and SR 9. There's also an HOV lane that is so high you can see the ocean.

Well, the Turbine Interchange does not allow U-turns.
