Apple Wireless Keyboard 2 battery version

Apple wireless keyboard being unboxed live with no editing, see what you get inside? Is there a weight difference between the 3 battery version as supposed to the newer 2 battery? This has been of my favorite keyboards. After 5 years I had to change the batteries. Seemed like it was common sense, but wanted to make sure before I broke any seals on it. Glad to see it was that easy. Thank you for this video.

This is the previous Apple wireless keyboard. This previous keyboard has removable batteries. The new wireless keyboard by Apple is called the Magic Keyboard. You have to use the Lightning Port on the top, to recharge the internal batteries.

@jaiden1998 Hi, ye I have to admit they are pretty awesome! I tested mine from around the time I made this video which was in August 2011, it lasted me till January 2012! Around 6 months!!! That's impressive! I used standard batteries, not rechargeable ones.

MC184LL/B - the part number should be this...then you will have the latest model with the Launchpad key.
Some stores still selling the old stock, so if you're not careful you'll end up buying it.

For everyone who wants to know how good this is at saving batteries. The keyboard i have has had 100% battery since March 15. THat means you can put your batteries in here that have been used up in an Xbox controller or something like that

Hello, There are mixed results, for some it does and others it doesn't. just make sure if you do get one for that specific purpose, that you purchase the keyboard from a retailer that will allow you to refund it - if it does not work! Sorry I could not help you much more. Good luck :)

you have an older model....coz Launchpad key is not yet integrated. New ones have it already.

I brought the 2 battery version late July and uploaded this video early August, so at the time I don't think the keyboards with the launchpad key where available even though Lion OS X was released. Do you know the date the newer keyboards with Launchpad key integration where available? thx :)

Hi thanks for your question, if you go to the video and watch from 2:58, you will see how I open it from the side and take out the batteries. This is how you change them :)

It's a bog-standard bluetooth keyboard, which is what the PS3 uses.

I agree my mac broke they repaired it, walked into genius and said my iPhone wasn't working they gave me a new one know quibbles.
