Kelsey and Shane have been living in their homemade truck bed tiny house for 2.5 years. Incredibly, they were able to build this cozy home for less than $4000 by using reclaimed materials. In this video, they take us on a tour and explain the process. Shane also builds similar tiny homes for other people.

This has to be the chillest couple ever!

This is the most invented slapped together tiny home I have ever seen. I love it! To just use whatever is donated and available to make a home on the go. I only wish I had half the artistic gift this couple has in making their cozy home. Happy travels and making memories Kelsey and Shane.

Dear Jenna and Team,
I like how you've been covering the lower budget, yet genuinely sufficient and beautiful, end of the the tiny house world. Sometimes it gets too money-soaked and beyond reach. I enjoyed seeing Kelsey and Shane's home and thank them for sharing it.

My grandparents actually did the same thing in the late 30's to travel across country to get to California and back to Pa once their children were old enough (13) of them. Its nice to see it can still be done! Now I'm going to have to find the old pictures.

They are so innovative, I love it. Their home looks so cozy. I do appreciate his honesty on what materials works and what doesn't. I wish them well. Go see all 50 states Beautifuls 💐 Have fun

Love how they just did it! Not waiting around, looking and waiting for stuff. They just used what they had and off they went. Wonderful!

*As a former nomad THANK YOU for helping the community and not tryna "make a quick buck" off them. So many I met out on the road (2015-2021) were struggling financially or living on a fixed income.* 👍🏾 💛

What a wonderful couple, I love their 'Field-Fab-to-sure' approach to there build and lifestyle. Every home should have a Dutch door. So from this couple who have lived our lives the same way, to you good folks: Go as far as you can, as fast as you want, for as long as you can. Us, we are now into our seventies and still going full throttle. Peace and love Paul & Sue

I love these types of videos. Showing people's clever DIY nomadic tinys, buses and vans, skoolies and wagons, etc. They folks live their own lives by their own ways, and are truly some of the most genuine people you will meet. 💚✌🏻

Came for the comments on how these are the real van lifers who stay true to the whole purpose of the movement. It’s refreshing to see real people actually doing this not the ones that actually look better than most peoples homes and aren’t affordable.

I was really surprised to see so much space in your home, it's lovely. I'm obsessed with recycling, so it was lovely to know you had used reclaimed a great life, for you and your little dog 😊
