I don't know specifically what she had to deal with as CEO of YouTube, but there seems to be a disconnect between her complaint about men's micro-aggressions towards her and her stated reasons for resigning. The only link between them was made up by the young man in this YouTube short.

Putting the two together seems a bit disingenuous to me.

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt on both counts that she's being honest.

She made her $765 million. Now she can afford not to have to put up with these 'micro-aggressions.'

It's scary when leaders in companies change. Let's hope we YouTubes don't have to face any problems from this 🤞. Also a lot of people are complaining and sorry to say i have no idea what it's about. Also let's hope YouTube is in good hands

I worked in media with big companies and it’s a boys club you have to adapt while you help them change things but sometimes it’s too many people with the same frat bit mindset and you can easily get swallowed in the mic while trying to do great things for a company . It is what it is . We need all of us to hire more people of color and women .

It's hard to believe the CEO of a major corporation is so thin-skinned that she is bothered by "microaggressions."

Microaggressions build up over 25 years. I'm about to leave a job after 2 because of how many I deal with in a day and from how many people I deal with it in a day and not just from peers but also from subordinates. It's kind of hard to do your job when you're constantly having to set boundaries and defend yourself.
