Car Dealers RIPPED People OFF FOR YEARS, Now They Are GOING TO PAY!

Join this channel to get access to perks:

In this video I take you to a used car dealer auction and show you how much dealers are paying for Trucks and Cars. Dealers have been charging crazy prices for vehicles over the last couple years and now they are going to have to lower their prices.

My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what's happening at the dealer auctions, and what it's like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.

Thanks for watching and please feel free to leave any comments you may have in the section below!

Big shout out to the auction for allowing you to film and educate us on the current vehicle market

Appreciate your videos. I've been car shopping for six months and I just flat out refuse to pay what dealers are asking right now. It's a shame and I hope they stay awake at night ruminating about how they are ripping customers off. These truck prices right now are hysterical.

Talked to a friend who works for GMAC/GM Financial in the Southeast this past week.. She said that in the SE Region that over18% of their own auto loans are in arears with more than half of those past the 180 day mark.. 90 days is usually when they start the repossession paperwork. They cannot get enough recovery companies out there to pick these cars up so fewer and fewer are being repossessed. Newer GM vehicles with OnStar are being shut down but still sitting out there waiting to be picked up. When the battery goes dead they lose the locator signal from them.. Its getting pretty bad..

The same Camry that I paid 19k for in 2018 would now cost about 30k. I would have bought a new car already. But I refuse to pay these rip-off prices.

Like an old auctioneer friend of mine always said, "It doesn't matter where the bids start, it's where it ends up that really matters". As far as retail prices in go, the used cars lots are full all over our area. They are going to have to lower the prices sometime soon if they want to sell their inventory.

Took my 18 year old son out last weekend on a new car dealership lesson. Went to two and he caved to the reality of this demonic market. Kia was asking $5k+ on markups on vehciles less than $30K MSRP. My son saw me chatting with the dealer rep and all the lies that ensued, while I chewed him up and he walked away. My son was all about getting a new car, now he is awaken to the theft and reality of this market. It was good time spent trolling new car lots. What a different landscape these days.

What I like is when you walk the auction lot and show the cars you have picked out and then after the auction you tell us if they sold and how much. What I would really like to see you expand on is the cars that don't run, you could do a whole video just on those cars. This really helps me see what is really going on in the car market and I have learned a lot from you.

What if you filmed the auctions with no commentary initially and then, while editing, you could add a voiceover explanation of what's happening? Thanks for all the behind the scenes content and for sharing all your knowledge to help us consumers make better buying decisions!

I have a love/hate relationship with cars and the auto industry. It is ashame that the public transit system was dismantled after WWII and one cannot not exist in most places in America without a car. With that said, I love going to car shows.

Most of the auto and economic channels I follow have been talking about car prices coming down for a year now. It’s still not visible. None of them said you will need to wait a long time before it actually happens. They also didn’t predict the second uptick in prices of used cars. There may be a lag but the lag is not months. It appears to be much longer.

It will be interesting to see how sales are when everyone has a new, more expensive, mortgage and are also forced to start paying back their student loans…

Good quality indy dealers like you deserve to thrive, giant multi-state dealer groups should suffer immensely after the last few years!

Thanks Brandon, I like your videos and all of the great information. Maybe on the inside Auction clips just let us listen to the sound of the Auctioneer and then maybe Across the screen say something like "This vehicle sold for x dollars, or it was not a sale because it did not reach reserve" ? Thumbs UP to you and thank you!👍

I’m in love with the red BMW with the hole cut in the door? Now, that is problem solving skill!
