What's the difference between the Wen 3939 and 3959 and 3960 other than the prices $123, $148 and $170???

Thank you very much for the review.
I just received mine on Friday, and I'm adjusting it and getting it set up.
However, the blade guard cover will not open, no matter what I do.
There's a sticker on the cover that says to "push in to open", but that doesn't do it.
The manual says to push down on the door/cover, while pulling toward you.
But that doesn't do it.
I've tried pulling, I've tried pushing, I've tried lifting, I've tried doing everything and I feel like if I put any more pressure on it I'm going to break it.
Using a flashlight I can't even see how it's latched.
UPDATE! So, both the instruction manual, and the sticker on the cover were both inaccurate.
You must very firmly squeeze the inner-facing side of the cover at the bottom where the ridges are, then pull forward and to the right.
Funny, Wen couldn't explain that properly.

I was just about to buy one of those porta band saws with an upright stand but they have very little clearance. this would be pretty ideal for what I would use. thank you for the review.

You think it can cut through a 3 inch thick piece of olive?

I maybe incorrect, but I think one is suppose to lower the guide to be about 1/2 inch from the work. Been many years since I used one. Thanks.

Hey TRZ, you still have this? Any of you know if I can cut a 2x4 into a 1x4 with this? Or maybe go Ryobi?

I noticed in the Skil review video, the table has rulers front and back so you can line up the fence to be perfectly parallel to the blade.  This Wen, while good, does not have that.  So, how do you make sure your fence is parallel to the blade?  After watching this video, I'm actually leaning more towards the Skil for that feature alone.  And at $50 less than this Wen, that's an added bonus.

Why is the model # on the side if this saw 3960, and the video title says3939?

Nice review. Wasn't sure what you meant by "the stand".

Good Review. Touched on all of the necessary points. I have been tossed up on this saw or just going with the 10" It is $100 more but comes with the stand. I keep waiting on the price to go down. BTW.... how difficult was getting the blade to track correctly? Thanks.

Would this do well cutting 1/4" thick steel?

He says 62" blades but the description says 59 1/2" blades

It weighs 40lbs. Keep the upper guide down further, just above the work. The fingers you save will be yours.

I just bought the same one except it's just the 2.5 amp. I don't think that will make a considerable difference.
