Excellent! Detailed and very informative step-by-step instructions! I watched all four of your tutorials on chalk painting. Each one is to the point and so full of important information.  No rambling or boring stretched out conversation. Thanks for that!

Thanks for your tutorial. I am currently working on my first piece, a sewing machine table for myself. I have a question on the distressing step. You mention it's better to do the distressing after waxing. However, I thought the steps on the Annie Sloan website said to do distressing first, followed by the waxing. Why do you say waxing should be done first? Especially for myself as a rookie? Also, if I do wax first and then distress, do I need to do a 2nd coat of waxing over the areas I distressed?

Your videos are so helpful! I am painting a buffet sideboard right now...it's coming along. I originally wanted the distressed look but I am liking how it looks without it. Is chalk paint preferred for distressed pieces only? Or do people use chalk paint even if they don't plan to distress it later. Love your videos! Thanks so much!

I bought gray chalk paint and I want the paint to be darker. Can you tell me if I could add some black acrylic paint to the chalk paint to make it darker

Really great tutorials as they make me feel like I can succeed with finishing a piece.
On another note, am really curious as to what software you are using to edit your videos? Thanks!

how well does the chalk paint withstand daily use? I have done a kitchen table and chairs and wonder if I should and/or can polyurethane over the chalk paint on the chairs so the paint doesn't come off.

I really love that dresser! Where can you purchase the paint? I checked online and I can't find any near me.
