They did not apologize at all. They just tried to explain the obvious and dismiss the inexcusable.

They didn’t not apologize.. they defended themselves because people are angry.

They should not be pressured for their beliefs. People need to mind their own business.they knew him for a very long time they deserve their observations and no one has the right to criticize them for it.

They didn't apologize for supporting Danny, they apologized for the ' pain' the letter caused. ..there's a difference

They didn’t apologize. At all. All they said was that they were asked to write character reference letters to send to the judge, and that they didn’t want to retraumatize the victims. What did they think they were doing, standing up for Danny Masterson and asking for him to be kept out of prison? Just because you have a great friend/ coworker does not mean you then write a glowing letter of character for the person to help persuade the judge for leniency. Rapists can be great friends, parents, coworkers, but just because you don’t have a bad experience with them doesn’t mean that they irrevocably did something incredibly awful and life destroying to someone else. Writing those letters and then pretending that it had nothing to do with the case/ outcome/ made it clear that you are supporting a serial rapist because “they’re a great big brother role model to you” is laughable. It’s clear where they stand, and clear that they thought it would only be seen by the judge. You can’t have it both ways, and they just got caught taking the side of a serial rapist.

Character LETTERS... They each wrote one.

They stood up for a friend and how they viewed Danny. Terrible he raped 2 women but those two didn't see him as a rapist.

It was an arrogant apology-non apology

They defended the person they thought knew. Not a thing wrong with that.

Fair weather, in the wind friends. You wrote the letters and if you felt it was the truth, then stand by it.

Everyone who wrote to support Masterson needs to watch the 60 minutes Australia story with Valerie Haney.

No one can take an apology anymore. Why is that? People make wrong choices daily and apologize. I forgive them even tho writing a character letter is not them stating they believe he is innocent it’s just a letter stating as far as they know he has been this and that kind of person. These are written daily by friends, family, boss, coworkers, etc… And again none of us truly know if our friends, family members are guilty until a verdict is read. They do a lot of good work protecting children being trafficked. So I know they didn’t write those letters with malice intent.

Why apologize, that's who you knew when you worked with him?

Why are you saying that that was an apology statement. That was them making a statement to why they wrote the letters which I thought was thoughtful, meaningful and appropriate. They were simply saying who they knew and not undercutting anyone else's involvement. In the case like I said appropriate.

Thank you Ashton and Mila for explaining the story behind the letter. I love both of you more for doing this video on YT. ❤

The REAL question is what does Danny have on Ashton.... I'm sure we will find out all in good time. This "apology" video is tremendously cringe and deep insincere.
