On today's episode, I'm taking you to a $3.5 million dollar abandoned mansion once owned by a local politician who was busted for tax fraud. After eviction, she was forced to leave the house in a hurry, resulting in most of her things still left inside the house. As this modern mansion stays tied up in litigations and bankruptcy along with liens on the property, nature is beginning to reclaim it.

That bedroom is proof positive that money cannot buy good taste. However I’m fascinated by the aurora borealis ceiling!

These houses need to be gone through and stuff donated for sure to people who would appreciate them.

If the Banks Forclose on a families house, why don't they do an Estate sale or have them DONATE all the stuff. I never knew there were abandoned mansions and castles, until a few days ago. You guys do a great job filming and sharing the stories of these abandoned homes. It's so disturbing to see all the stuff left behind and the homes that are rotting is heartbreaking. I literally cried at the first two video tours I saw. Thank you for sharing your exploration tours with us.

I would so want to clean this house and just make it my own to live there! It’s fascinating. It does really bug me on how much things they left behind though.

I have many wonderful memories in that house. I lived there for 4 years. They treated me like their son. They had issues just like all humans do but I’ll forever be grateful for their kindness and generosity.

When will people finally distinguish the difference between what a person wants and what a person needs. This was an explore of excess done in the extreme. Sad and disgusting. Thank you for sharing.

So many foreclosed properties end up like this whether by hook or crook. Seems the banks would rather take the loss than not get the full amount. So many new homes built during mid 2000s were sold to people who couldn’t afford them after the 3 yr arms were up. The banks got bailed out but so many homes were basically abandoned. Now we are going back into another housing boom. Housing prices are up 30 to 40 percent and here we go again with the big mortgages. Great video. Love a good backstory. You’ve got a great narrative voice. Thanks and stay safe.

Wretched excess while thousands are homeless in the streets. Wasted space that could be useful. Great content.

As an interior designer, the primary bedroom ceiling/roof ridge not lining up with the bed bothers me too! I appreciate your photographer’s eye to point out these details bc I notice them too. Your vids are all so fascinating!

It seems that people have been “living” in there… maybe after the house was abandoned people just went in there and messed things up… but it’s an amazing place!!! Great video!!

I’d like to know who they are and pictures of what it looked like during the good times.

Usually I would think it to be disrespectful to take stuff from abandoned houses, but in this case I feel like it would be justified 😂

Unreal. The most artistically unique ceilings I've ever seen. These ceilings are true works of art in this entire mansion. Exceptional.

Such a beautiful house. Hopefully it can be a new home one day and get the love it deserves after being so lonely and abandoned. Thank you for sharing. I find your voice so soothing. I’m really enjoying your videos x

Awesome explore! I feel like these "big wig' politicians and business people are NEVER just regular people. They all have secrets or skeletons or darkness. For real!! Bit once again I LOVE the explore and OF COURSE the story you tell. Thank you!

I agree w/you! Ppl like this have money to just throw it away. It's not only sad but it makes me sick that this stuff is gonna rot & decay & there's ppl in need all over the world that don't have clothes or a home. Their pillow is the concrete sidewalk. Ppl like this don't appreciate what they have. SMH

If they owed the IRS, the IRS would put a lien on everything and auction it off for the monies owing. Anything left after auction, cannot be touched by the owners...
By the way, great narration, and filming of the properties you've shown. Keep 'em coming.
Thanks for the tour.
