Maybe MADD should be sued for funding civil rights violations. They're giving police departments money based on the number of arrests they do.

So, the police officers and departments have "qualified immunity", but MADD is a private organization. If there "awards" are shown to contribute to false arrests, can they be sued?

Most states have quit using DWII (driving while intoxicated) now it's called DUI (driving under the influence) meaning you can be under the influence of just about anything, and in their minds it gives them yet another excuse to violate our rights! 😮🤔🤔🤔

Does anyone EVER pass a FST? Though it's subjective, most cops are going to arrest you the test is just a part of their process

How can you protect yourself if you have disabilities like arthritic conditions that render your mobility poor. Ive been concerned for this as I have rotator cuff issues and can not put my hands behind my back, and an arthritic knee that needs replacing and don't walk well let along get in and out of a car. Police rough handling could easily put me into a hospital? What do you need to say to these officers so they don't hurt me?

My dad always told me that if you get pulled over and you been drinking put a penny in your mouth. Its proven to negate the breath test

Be especially aware if you are taking any over-the-counter medication for a cold or flu. Many contain alcohol or ingredients that may make you appear impaired.
If you take prescription medication, especially tranquilizers or anxiety meds, be sure to take either your bottle with a recent refill date or a copy from the pharmacy of the medication & dosage in your glove box or console of your car. Be sure to tell the officer that has stopped you what you are reaching for!!!
If you have a physical condition or ailment & are disabled, be sure to keep a doctors statement of the disability with your drivers license to prove your claims.

Think about this; when cops are arresting a non impaired person on the side of the road, a REAL impaired person might be driving by with impunity. God forbid a person be injured or killed because cops were too busy trying to "score points"
