The Gerber Dime has a very similar short-bladed tool on it that's FANTASTIC for opening packages. Like you said, keeps your contents safe, and bonus: keeps your knives clean and sharp.

I feel like they missed a trick. The bottle opener part could have been curved to make it dual purpose, could have been use as a finger choil to give more grip on the tool

Make a video as you try to walk it thru a TSA line in the USA. The cops will have you on the ground beating you with rice flails in about 1 millisecond. Thanks for sharing the cool tool! I'm off to go try and purchase one! Great form factor. I only ever use a tiny amount of blade at work and this will be perfect!

I got mine today and as you said in another comment the action is not that good out of the box. It doesn't flip open like yours. I'll try to adjust a little bit to see if it helps.
