My journey on every uni semester has been almost the same so far: start decent the first weeks, maybe feel a bit scared, get very motivated and confident halfway through, and then get lazy towards the end when I know I'm passing, and this was definitely the case for my Statistics class last semester.

Man, how I wish I had discipline and skills for research like you do to come up with these explanations, then I'd probably fall in love with these topics immediately, and I can tell because I'm 13min in and already feel impressed by how much you manage to make it entertaining but also so intuitive to the point where one can see where it is all going (though I'm sure other courses do cover some of this "background" stuff, but I believe in relying not on an institute, but on yourself to learn science and maths properly while having fun with it).

Thank you so much for your dedication Grant, you inspire me a lot, even when I feel like I don't know what I wanna do in life.

You can directly write the answer as log of the function in the denominator as long as it is a linear function of 'x' (But don't forget to divide by coefficient of 'x'!)

If you remember the chain rule for differentiating a log function then it becomes much simpler

Thanks! With it method, i solved the problem about average lenght of the chord in a circle. I got 3/pi, is it correct?
