trig identity is pretty clear on this one tho,
since cos(90-angle) = sin(angle) (or vise versa i’m too lazy to check myself)
it becomes sin^2 + cos^2 of the same angle which is always 1

so 1/1 = 1

in GRE trest

you can speculate by changing the angles while keep the sum as 90

cos30**2 + cos60**2
1/4+3/4=1
cos45**2+cos45**2
1/2+1/2=1

cos90**2+cos0**2 =1


so in the question, it will be 1/1

Cos^2(75°) convert 'sin^2(90°-75°), sin^2(90°- 73°)' = 'sin^2(27°), sin^2(17°)' this class 10 identity =1

you skipped one step. when you have cos² over itself, you can take the square root of the numerator and the denominator and then cancel out.
