In my Graphic Design class in high school I used PhotoPea over Adobe just cuz I always used it and it's more reliable lol. The funny part is half the computers didn't have Adobe on it so I had to basically tell everyone to use PhotoPea.

I like Adobe. I haven’t found any other software that compares. That’s after having used and beta tested it since 1990.

I think my biggest questions would be:
On the software side: How does he manage to duplicate PShop effects accurately?
On the back end: How much of the work is done in a cloud vs how much is being done by your computer when you working on large renders.

Two of my three Windows 10 computers are going to Linux when Win10 comes to end of life. The third (which spends 99% of the time offline at present) will be completely offline. I COULD put something like Affinity Photo on the offline machine, but I'm wondering if it might make sense to just use Photopea on one of the Linux machines!? I might give Photopea a try while still on Win10. Of course, there's no reason why I couldn't do both!

My PC crashed. I still have my PS CS6 that came in a cardboard case, but it'd that high end print, like a cardboard album case where the print goes full edge, no cuts, folded, flawless image on the inside on full jacket, other was Acrobat Pro XI. Since I didn't register it, Adobe said my keylogs were pirated, which they weren't. I do have a suspicious copy of illustrator from Russia on a not so good printed disc that cost $100, and inside a plastic case with a printed sleeved put inside, not full edge printing. Did not need keycodes for it.

So yeah, I would love to be able to not pay Advobe

I would ask:
How are mismatched ICC profiles form open and imported images handled?
What file formats are supported for saving, exporting, opening and importing?
What size limitations are there in the program in pixels x pixels.
Does the application have LAB color space support?

photo pea is great BUT a lot of the key graphic design effects that makes photoshop stand out so much dont work that well in photopea

as compared with your SONY and Canon cameras.

I use photopea and daVinci.. all free!!! Forget paying for Adobe man
