West philippines sea is a rich fishing ground that help feed our people, and there is a potential gas and fossile fuel in that area, the philippinnes is a strategic geographical location, a gateway to the pacific ocean and during ww2, korean war, vietnam war and war in middle east it play a very important role, US and Japan fought a bitter combat to control it, and US use it as a logistic center during vietnam and middle east conflict, if there will be future war, super power need to control the strategic geographical location of the Philippines, you need to be a friend of the Philippines not its enemy if you like to have access to our country

Filipinos may be brave but if no country will support the Philippines against china bravery is not enough to win a war, eliminate corruption strengthen it's military capabilities and the Philippines can stand on it's own, as long as there is corruption in the government, and it's people are just keeping a blind eye and deaf ears about it, Philippines will have a hard time moving forward even if it's already a developing country.
