Judge Newman had such grace under pressure and you could see his integrity when he sentenced Murdaugh. He didn’t take BS. I’m glad his daughter is a judge now. My grandfather’s retirement job was a court bailiff and I remember him talking about the judges he worked with and admired. I think Judge Newman is one my grandfather would have gladly served.
