I have U-shaped brackets attached to the top pane of a glass door using Pattex 250. Can you help me with how to remove the aluminum U-shaped bracket from the glass door?

Thanks for the video. I have wood trim that was glued to brick near our front door. We had to replace the front stair posts and railings and reposition them. It was easy to remove the trim, but I am worried about damaging the brick or leaving traces of glue behind. The brick has remnants of tan/yellow colored adhesive on it similar to yours. My problem is that I need to remove all traces of the adhesive because the brick is now visible. Any advice for how we proceed after the “heat gun/blow dryer” step is appreciated. Thank you!

Can you use the heat gun if the adhesive is used on drywall?

My 2 cents worth
I was given about 230m of 4x2 planed framing timber with construction adhesive on it that was used to hold drywall
Worth about $2, 000 in NZ, so I thought I'd clean it up and reuse it

What worked for me was using a paint scraper with a RIPPLED edge, not a straight edge and no heat gun
The heat gun can be used on uneven surfaces but it's way too slow if you've got a lot to do

If you are in a bind and don't have a rippled edge, cut lots of small notches with a metal cut off disc into a straight edge
Also, white spirit or vaseline will dissolve construction adhesive but it's slow

This will be helpful, but how do you remove it from a surface you don’t want to scratch, say a car😂
