The PROS and CONs of Shiny Hunting in Colosseum/ XD (read description)

~~ EDIT: It seems that there is no 50/50% that the Pokemon will either shiny for you or the other trainer, something which was unknown to me during the making of the Video ~~

Cool video my guy but it seems from the results of a growing colosseum shiny hunting community that the shadow pokemon can only be shiny on the players side in the first battle.
Take it from a proud owner of a shiny shadow noctowl ; )

Sorry but this is a weird video.. I´m a colosseum/XD hunter myself and I know a lot of people who enjoy hunting in these games. It´s seen as one of the ultimate accomplishments as a shiny hunter. And btw you can only find an uncatchable shiny shadow pokemon if its the second battle. So you won´t encounter an uncatchable shiny when you´re hunting in colo. (Cyal (TheUnderdog2020) didn´t know it better back then) and the Skarmory was a rebattle.

Usually people hunt with a single high level mon with a move like earthquake so you can ohko any Pokémon incoming and masterball the Pokémon because with the switch glitch it's unlimited and since you have only a single mon in your team it's sent out instantly so you don't have to check.
It's also apparently pretty easy to count frames to get a shiny.
They are the sickest shinies after gen 2 imo.

I see..shinies for the opponetn has their secret/trainer id matching its chance to make it shiny, whatever

Once you catch it, the ids change and is rly only a very small chance to be shiny for you to! I used to think once it was purified thats what fucked up the science

I think i watched on another vid (absol blogs or Oliver? ) that hitmontop is seen first vs eagun, when you battle it is seen as a REBATTLE. so you cant catch it shiny on the first try 😢
