Amazing Kalle. Its so natural and awesome. The time he took break for workout/ food and instead spent sleeping and procrastinating shows the real touch of life. And most of the time he himself admit of not knowing how and what the code does which is true in most cases.

It scares and boggle sometimes when many youtubers have a huge long day sitting capacity and come up with amazing code which gives sense of inferiority complex that I will never be that good.

I think its true that most of the time its just will power to do research and constant effort.

THANK YOU KALLE <3.
EAGERLY WAITING FOR THE NEXT PART WHERE WE USE THE JSON IN AN APP OR WEBAPP.

I really appreciate the initial step of requirement definition. This is a procedure that is not easy to find examples for.

You just won a new subscriber. I loved how natural the flow was. The running into errors. Taking a break but then end up doing nothing. Still dedicated to make it work. Googling a lot of stuff. The process was just so natural and went in a very very natural flow. I loved it.

Bro when you took out the AirPod and the podcast moved to just the right. Nice touch. Loving the videos!

I would love to see you design a UI for this as well! I would easily pay money for an app like this.

you sir just won a subscriber just because you said you will build an app with this code - because I, as well, love to track things - and I would love to use that app. I look forward to it and I will keep following you from now on

It is definitely one of the best one day builds you've done. Super useful. I've started crafting a web app to track my time while learning the new stuffs of React js and this have given me a couple of ideas on how to add some automation to it. Thanks

17:05: that unbelievable and soo satisfying feeling of being "actually done a build", greatest emotion a programmer could ever experience

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I work on multiple projects all week long. This is going to help me much!

why don't you have one where you enter the task you have in mind for the day then let your app track you and see how long it took you. For example, you want to do another one day build. You go in and enter the name of the one day build now everything that will be tracked will be stored under that name. So you know how long it took you to build the one day build in total and how long you spent on the different apps and websites.

Always a pleasure to watch you automate stuff ! And yeah, the idea to take a walk was good as well. Will wait for the next part. Lets take that json and build the flutter app UI!

If you want to build an app to show the time spent, I recommend Elasticsearch and Kibana. You can import your data to Elasticsearch and use Kibana as a UI tool to work with the data. Kibana allows you to build visualization dashboards with drag and drop, so it is faster. Unless you want to go through the learning curve by building your own visualization app, then that is different.

This is really nice. I wish there was an option to sum the time usage for each app in the JSON file. For example, I have 7 entries under youtube with no labels.
