KEF's Q Meta line of speakers brings their Metamaterial Absorbtion Technology (MAT) to their popular Q line, delivering crisp, punchy sound from your favorite music, movies, and games.

KEF's MAT absorbers use a maze-like design to eliminate up to 99% of unwanted sound behind the driver, resulting in improved tweeter performance and more overall clarity from the famed KEF Uni-Q coaxial driver.

The Q Meta lineup gives you a lot of choices, whether you're building a stereo system or a full home theater. Like the Q Series it's replacing, the Q Meta line features smaller stand-mount speakers all the way up to room-filling towers. There are even Dolby Atmos "topper" up-firing speakers available.

The secret to KEF's signature sound, of course, is their Uni-Q driver array, which uses a "point source" coaxial design with the tweeter mounted in the center of the woofer. KEF has continued to refine this driver over time, and Q Meta speakers use the 12th-generation of this venerable driver. They are known for their wide sound dispersion and larger listening "sweet spot" than many other loudspeaker designs.
