Thanks for a year of the most uniformly informative posts on sound reproduction equipment on YouTube, or any other medium that I've seen. In the future, if possible, I'd appreciate hearing more about equipment made, or at least assembled in the US. (If for no other reason than the performance/cost ratio of imported gear might be taking a nosedive if other countries get hit with punitive tariffs.) For example, I was very impressed with your review of the Ascend Acoustics Sierra, and there are a number of other small companies that manufacturer speakers, amps and even DACs in the US, and are seldom or never seen in the A/V - Stereo magazines or on more commercially oriented web review sites. Anyway, keep up the great work.

My personal favorite for 2024 is the Tom Evans Mastergroove. The build quality of high-end audio equipment continues to amaze me—it's in a completely different league compared to Hi-Fi separates from mainstream brands. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are truly on another level.

Thanks Erin for the great attention to detail. Based on your review of the Ascend Acoustics Sierra 1 v2, I chose to try the Sierra LX speakers as they were designed to have a much better base extension. Boy, they sound very impressive, especially for a book shelf speaker. It would be interesting to get your take on these.
