y'all your girl over here in West Texas with an oily face and living in 95+ degree weather consistently can get her 8 dollar waterliner to last a full work day. dont be scared, put on that eyeliner and then get a small brush and go over it matte black shadow on your waterline. Be gentle and dont use a ridiculous amount and youll be good. I use this for the top too on particularly oily face days.

Nyx liquid eyeliner is bomb for the top of the eyelid. Iv learned that gel, regardless of packaging is not waterproof

I splurged one time and bought the urban decay eyeliner and it smudged everywhere. might have to try that Marc Jacobs one.

I also swear by the Marc Jacobs eyeliner. It is by far the best on the water line & is the only liner I've ever used that doesn't collect in the corner of my eye. It's the biggest splurge I make with makeup

Eyeliners don't work for everyone, some people have oily eyelids and some don't, or if you wear powder to dry out your eyelid, if your eyes tear up a lot, or if you blink too much, and it depends on what you're doing throughout your day and the weather too. I've been using liquid liner since high school, for like five years now and it's a super cheap one, and it stays on all day and i remove it with water, it's perfect for me but my mom has an oily face so a lot of eyeliners don't work for her. Tattooing your eyeline is also an option but pretty drastic.

The Marc Jacobs eyeliner was given out last year from Sephora in the birthday gift and it's the best/darkest liner I've ever used! definitely recommend it for the lower lash line!
