Finally someone talking about having uneven eyelids and makeup omg - I deadass thought it was only me cuz I never see ANYONE talk about it 😭😭😭 it kills me inside when I do my makeup and it looks weird cuz my eyelids aren’t exactly the same

Same! One of my eyes is way, way more hooded than my other, so I learnt to do eyeliner in brown and stayed there, so it’s slightly less noticeable lol

I actually really liked the more graphic black liner. It looks really nice paired with the soft pink lip and soft brows. Very pretty

I have one hooded and one double eyelid. There’s literally no trick on the internet that helped me. I can have one thin line for the double and one thick wall on the hooded to be even if my eyes are flexed, if it’s relaxed it’s still uneven. Then I just learn to accept this difference honestly, my mom told me my heritage is half Chinese and half Vietnamese. Half East Asian and half Southeast Asian, hence having both mono and double lids. I thought that sentiment speaks volume so I decided not to change it. I only do eyeshadow, no need for liners.

Thank you! I also have uneven eyelids where one is noticeably double lid and the other is very much mono lid. I have been struggling with winged liner forever! Definitely motivated to start practicing again.

An ex broke my eye socket and when I did my makeup and it would be uneven (1 eye looks much smaller than the other)I would hate it bc it reminded me of the abuse. It took me forever to be able to look in the mirror at myself and I still struggle making it look even sometimes and I'll have to wash off and start over or go without bc I'm self conscious about it. Ppl used to tell me how pretty my eyes were, now I avoid eye contact most days

I can’t wait to try this! I almost never wear eye makeup because I had surgery on my right eyelid. It has scaring and wrinkles that always get highlighted when I wear eye makeup. Maybe this will be a good trick for me.
