Let's be realistic, you are not to blame for doing more than you can handle. They played against the Moroccan Olympic team, most of whose players are professionals in the strongest European clubs despite their young age. We all saw how they beat Argentina 2-0 in the first half. The Moroccan team is ranked 10th in the world. They have a football culture, but as for us, there is still a lot of grassroots work awaiting us in terms of football. Yet again the US fails to beat better opposition. I really think introducing promotion/relegation to the MLS would help by making it more competitive, giving teams something to fight for and would give players a stronger mentality playing in such games where your club could go down or go up if you win or lose.
