Where this gets really dangerous isn't when it occurs during the initial interaction, it's when you walk away. Women who realize they've lost your attention will generally pull moves like this to try to make you chase them. That is always a trap and can be especially difficult in friendzone situations but going back is never worth it.

I think human psychology is more complex than this more black and white perspective as often times we can be very interested in someone yet have psychological barriers/feats that prevent us from being honest and upfront with them so we send “mixed messages.”

Got friendzoned she still messages me daily and I can tell she is flirting a ton and sometimes even sends me suggestive pictures or sexual comments or even just nudes. Sometimes I'll post I'm at a party or with other women and she all of a sudden messages me with a witty comment or when I'm out she tries to pull information on who I am with

She already rejected me made it clear we will never date or have a sexual physical hookup because I'm just a friend. Trust me I made a move I tried to hookup with her in person and she states "I want us to remain friendly I do not see us as a romantic couple physical attraction is not the same as emotional" and gave me a speech on how she wants us to be friends and does not want to ruin it. And that she has 0 interests in me as a date.

In person she acts like she doesn't even send me pictures, I've seen her naked hundreds of times as we exchange photos as she states "It is just fun".

I'm confused I've known this person for 5 years everytime I want to separate or mention other women she goes up a level her flirting gets more intense or she simply starts telling me about other guys trying to make me jealous. Tbh I keep getting sucked back in even when I meet other women and got dates and things to do she just sucks me right back in. At the end of the day I know what must be done but I've known this person for a long time and we even hung out when we both were seeing other people before this got weird and I'm having trouble seeing them as just a friend now.

To me it happened that when we were together we had an amazing time but when we were not together I often had to send first message otherwise it would go for hours without texting which made me insecure and gave me mixed messages which in this case I interpreted as black as I don’t think he was that into me...dating sucks

A good friend, the most beautiful woman I ever met in my life (by a large margin), put me in the friend zone. Was one of the hardest things I experienced during my life. Still, 2 years later, it is so difficult. She is by far the best resource for me to meet new women as she is a super connector, but on the other hand, it is soooo painful and depressing when I see her. I try to forget her, but it would be a terrible loss of a friend (and so many other, shared friendships). Life is cruel, so cruel.

What if she says "I dont thinks we should hang out anymore." and then 5 days later she's texting me to go out to eat together and at the end of the night gives me a hug before we part for the night. Then again says "I dont think we should hang out anymore" and 4 days later shes texting me again to go out to the movies together and again hugs me before we part for the night. Then I tell her I think we Im going to move on, and she says "I care about you I dont want you to move on but if you do I want to stay in contact".
