Good luck to anyone here looking for sesamoiditis. I've had it for 10 yrs, and trying to come to terms with it being permanent. I still browse around videos hoping to find something new when I get flare ups, but I'm not finding anything. My first podiatrist made a orthotic that wasn't correct. They said it would take 2 weeks to make adjustments... but they took 3 months. Meanwhile that bone behind my baby toe, taking the stress as i subconsciously shifted my weight, has hurt also every since. So be careful about putting a pad there for too long. The next podiatrist i saw was saying now there was no area to shift the weight to. Now i have multiple issues on both feet with no relief in sight😞

I went to a podiatrist today to get my toe pain checked out. He told me that at 21 I am the sad owner of 2 bunions, one that is causing me daily pain. Love your videos. Thanks. :)

I know you guys are a lot more educated on this than I am, but it seems to me like putting more cushion on the opposite side of the ball joint, would leverage even more tension on your big toe ball joint. However, I am going to try this, because I have a very physical job for a living, and need to attempt all remedies possible. I will make sure I comment again on how this works. Thank you for taking the time to put this video out🙏

Hi guys I recently got a pretty rough case of this after some indoor climbing - I hope you guys can do a more specific video on some things a climber can do to help with this as we cannot fit insoles into out shoes and the shoes have to be tight! thanks

Damn I'm absolutely sure that this is what I have been suffering from for the last 10 months. I was training for an ultra marathon and was running 60km a week on the low end and 80km on the high end. Started off having a lot of big toe pain (Turf toe) but kept training since I didn't want to lose fitness before my race. Maybe two months later getting out of bed in the morning the pain was unbearable and I collapsed onto the floor. Doctor told me it was plantar fasciitis and recommended to standard treatment of no rest etc...The pain was really bad in the morning but eased up during the day, so I thought as long as I stretched my foot before and after training I could still run, and run I did. Long story short a few weeks later I was barely able to put weight on my foot, Laying in bed the weight of my blanket just touching my foot would send me into a fit of pain. 10 months later and I have a constant dull throbbing's pain in my foot that likes to flair up at any opportunity that presents itself.

I'm not sure if I have this or not! Last summer I had sharp pain under my second toe near the ball of the foot. It eased up after a couple days. I did some Google research and thought it might be Metatarsalgia or Morton's Neuroma. I went to the ER and the doc did an x-ray and said everything looked fine to him! Well it's a year later and the pain is still there but it's more of an annoying, dull ache. I can't go for long walks anymore unless I have a good pair of shoes on and even then it can flare up.

I can kind of recreate the pain by pulling back on my second toe and it's around the joint or ball of the foot. Would an x-ray have picked up on arthritis or any of these other foot issues...or would I need an ultra sound or MRI??

I have this right now, I cannot walk on my foot. The pain is severe, I didn’t injury my foot, just got up started walking and then the pain started. It’s really swollen and hurts without touching it.

Thanks for the great info. I suffered an initial gout attack over a month ago. Foot still hurts, but differently. This is exactly the pain. Can This all stems from an awkward landing while running?

As a runner would you recommend any off time if you develop this or would an exercises be alright?

i've attended a seminar on these type of "plantar cushions", vasyli + prior concept, you might have heard of them; this seems like a limited extension of the big toe, also known as hallux limitus or rigidus ( not enough extension of the big toe when you lift of the foot; this led to other problems in the future like a twist abduct while lifting the foot off the floor everytime you walk) the device i am talking about has a small gap exactly under the big toe to give him more ROM to act; there are more like these, examples: for the diabetic foot, uneven length of the inferior limbs; i hope you understand what i'm saying here, good luck :)

Why do you put the insert under the little toe? Doesn't that force more pressure to the side under the big toe with the sesamoiditis?

Hi, im currently bed ridden for past week with sesamoiditis flare up.. Pain is severe. Can anyone please advise me what is best NSAID for sesamoiditis healing? Im using Prednisone 20 mg every morning and 3x daily 400mg ibuprofen or 3x dexketoprofen 25mg. I believe it is going away slowly now after 7 days. But I believe I will still be needing another 10 days to start mooving properly. Thns everyone.

ADORABLE! I like the heart too.. Thank you for your videos. Several of them have helped me quite a bit, especially the one regarding the Pure Wave Massager. I no long er need to get cortisone shots in my neck! I think the extra jingle was a mistake (not on purpose)
