I think I may like that mod just to ditch the bulky power supply. A powerful USB C plug is a lot smaller, and would reduce the cables and clutter on my TV rack.

I cant believe i never thought of playing Gameboy Advance games on the gamecube this way, for the ultimate portability. Those bulky gameboys require so many batteries

Last year I was on a road trip and I brought a GameCube, a 2002 sharp 4:3 13 inch tv and a dc to ac converter and played most of the ride like that. The GameCube was picoboot modded by me a while back

I just use the original portable screen they made back in like 2002-2004 for my GameCube defiantly not anywhere as clear or as good as the picture you have but I enjoy it still plus it adds more nostalgia for me with the crappy picture quality reminds me of when I was a little kid and that’s all we had was crap picture quality 😂. Love the vids as always
