DJI Action 3 Best Motovlog Setup

The next test with microphones on the DJI Action 3 for my motovlog setup. This time I tested the Sennheiser MKE Essential Omni Black with the RODE AI. This gives me the possibility to record stereo sound with 2 microphones.

Besten Dank für dein Video. Ich habe auch sehr viel ausprobiert.
Am Schluss hab ich den Samsung ICE 100 gefunden. Dieser USB C Kopfhörer ist eigentlich fürs Handy gedacht und durch Abschneiden der zwei Hörer
bleibt nur das Mikrofon. Der Sound ist absolut top. Siehe auch im Internet die entsprechenden Kommentare bei YouTube. Der Vorteil ist, dass alle Interfaces weg fallen. Der Preis des Samsung AG K IC100 ist unter 20 Euro.

Hi Marc, verfolge Deine Videos seit einer Weile. Ich fahre mit dem Samsung EO-IC100. Siehe dazu mein vorletztes Video. War ein Glücksgriff. Man muss zwar ein bisschen aufpassen, dass man nicht zu laut spricht, aber Preis-Leistung ist top.

I had a Creative Sound Blaster G3 laying around and decided to try it out. Low and behold it works perfectly. It's a great alternative to the Rode AI and at less than half the cost. Only 1 mic channel though but if you're not worried about running 2 microphones it could be the better option. Also smaller too, so better for hiding inside the helmet. Hope this helps someone watching!

You have managed to get very good results but that Sennheiser is very expensive, especially when coupled to the Rode. It feels like the best solution is the DJI radio mic.

Thank you for this videos, i have about 3hrs of garbage audio footage… i just hooked my mic Rode Lav to an adapter and lowered the volume to -12db on the action 3

Thanks for this video buddy. I bought this same camera to finally be able to change my old GoPro Hero 4, but I was never able to use the Action 3 in the helmet because of the audio. I'm still with the old reliable one and the Action 3 remained a secondary camera hahahaha Greetings friend, good video!

Question for you, Please reply. So I bought the Rode AI Micro to use it with my Action 3. My question is:

1-The settings that you set on the App for the Micro AI, the settings stay with The Interface?
2- Does the Rode AI have internal memory to save the settings saved while using the App?

So it seems like no matter what settings I set in the Rode Central app, the settings make no difference when I connect my Action 3 to it.
to me it sounds the same, like the changed settings in the app make no difference at all in the DJI action 3.

There is no information about this out there, but since you are more experienced with the Rode AI and the action 3 is why I ask you.
