U Maloj sali Sankt Peterburske filharmonije imao sam veći broj koncerata. Obišao sam mnoge muzeje i dvorce u okolini ovog predivnog grada. Not only is the architecture superb, but also the food and social life with its beutifull people enhances and warms the heart of every visitors. NB: I did visit 120+ countries on this planet, but St, Petersburg is second to none.

This is so beautiful and the arcihtecture is so beautiful. As a native New Yorker I was blown away by the visual of the St. Petersburg subway. What a culture!! So elegant! It is impressive to me that throughout watching the video one does not see one piece of litter on the ground anywhere & assuredly no graffiti. Alas in some true ways--civilization. I really miss SP. I’ve been there for all its seasons and enjoyed extremes that I had never experienced: the extreme cold and the white nights, in particular. Buying bottles of beer in winter and drinking in a snowy park is something I’ll never forget, as was cleaning a rug in the snow. And then when it finally “warmed” up, it was so lovely. Not many really hot days but great spring/fall weather. I get sentimental thinking about it now. It was a very particular, romantic season of my life that I will never forget.
