Xenia lived most of her life in eighteenth-century Russia as a homeless fool-for-Christ and displayed remarkable spiritual gifts including clairvoyance. At first, some of the people of St. Petersburg mocked and ridiculed her as a homeless vagabond. Xenia bore this with patience and eventually, they began to realize her spiritual gifts and connection with God despite her attempts to hide her asceticism.

I am a Catholic who is very interested in the Orthodox rich tradition and sacred art. I naturally consider with deep respect the Orthodox saints because they are lights onto the world for all Christians.

I do sincerely believe they are a blessed link between separated brothers and work with the Catholic saints for our full communion under the Lord. Because in Heaven they are together in perfect fraternity and they care for us.
Before 1054 we were one Church and I know unity will be restored by God. Praying is what we must do.
