Tensions between former President Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are set to come to a head at the Libertarian Party convention this weekend in Washington as both presidential candidates court the party’s voters. Angela McArdle, chair of the Libertarian National Committee, joins “The Hill on NewsNation” to discuss their appearance, saying, "For 50-plus years, the Libertarian Party has been trying to get on the main debate stage with the two-party candidates and it hasn't happened yet.... so we have decided to bring the debate stage to our convention."

Disagree with the guy knocking the Libertarians for inviting the competion in - especially in the duopoly-dominated system which makes it quite difficult for any third party to gain traction. To me it's actually quite a brilliant way to get their ideas and candidates exposure that they wouldn’t get otherwise.

Great interview but stupid comentators. Having the opponents participate in their convention helps them get their message out and allows them to communicate their desires to those who may win. Great strategy. I hope they nominate RFK Jr. He is closely aligned on some of their values and it could be a win win for them.
