Trump and RFK set to speak at the Libertarian Party Convention

Former President Donald Trump and independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are both scheduled to speak at the Libertarian Party Convention this weekend.

Angela McArdle, the chair of the Libertarian National Committee, explained it's part of the party's attempt to get on the presidential debate stage and bring more attention to the Libertarian party. President Joe Biden was also invited to speak at the convention, but McArdle says his team didn't respond.

"President Donald Trump is coming to specifically address our grievances as Libertarians," she said. "Whether they're grievances with his administration in particular or government at large, he's coming to speak to our list of top 10 concerns."

Republicans want a BIG government when it comes to things that concern them (no women’s rights, no gun laws, bible with politics, police controlling minorities etc.) and SMALL government when it comes to civil rights for minorities, voting rights for minorities etc.

I’m a libertarian leaning independent. Still technically registered as a Democrat even though I have gone to great lengths to try to change that online and at the polls, but somehow they won’t change it in the system. Seems pretty sketchy. But soon in North Carolina, we will actually have a Weather people party that we can switch over to. And I can definitely see us working closely with libertarians.

Trump gets credit in my opinion for just going and addressing the group. Biden refused, he was scared. Trump walked into the lions den and came out with some boos but a lot of cheering too !!
