For me I'm so obsessed for becoming the best version of me so when I found myself wasting my time scrolling I just say loudly "that's not what my best version is doing right now" so it works as a reminder

I love the timers on my phone. My family laughs at me for them. But I’m not limiting myself to ONLY 15 minutes a day, I’m using the timer as a reminder of “hey bestie, you’ve been on instagram for 15 minutes!!” and it breaks my “trance” of doomscrolling.

Another tip to stop scrolling is to watch YouTube videos out there explaining the negative and harmful effects that scrolling has on your brain and metal health. When you start learning about how bad something is for you, you begin to develop a disgust and distaste for it, and naturally want to do it less. Thanks for another great video Lena! ❤

Girl, I have been watching u for so long now! And you made me realize how much I'm worth!!! Also some tips that I use is to sleep at least 1 or 30 min earlier than you normally do. And if yall use your phone right when you wake up, that is going to make your day a living hell! Thanks Lena for all the support and love you spread!!

Lena, I love your journaling tip. I haven't seen anyone talk about it when talking about stopping doomscrooling. Like you said, some of these videos make us feel bad about ourselves. I believe that most times we are on our phones because we are running away from something. We are trying to get numb. We are trying to be distracted. So when we journal, we pay attention to our feelings. I love your video ❤

If you can’t get yourself to completely stay off your phone, I realized that putting on podcasts or motivational videos while you do something productive is really helpful. It replaces the doom scroll with something that can still comfort you in a positive way and keep you productive

I have days that I think that I am fat, but I know that I am not. In this world where being skinny is the thing, makes teenage girls like me (I am 14) think that "I am fat". But the real THING should be being healthy.
I am now in summer had very many candy days, but I move outside. I know that I don't move enough, but I have now started running.
What I mean is that we are all beautiful and not fat. This world we live in has made us think that everybody has to be skinny. I am so happy that we have an inspiration like Lena. You make me think the best of myself and I hope many teenage girls finds your channel. girlll thank you so much for this video..the 10 minutes becoming 3 hours is so real! i end up wanting to work out so i go to the gym at like 9, leave at 10-11, having to get ready and end up not being tired so I stay up until 3 😭!

omggg this video was everything!! I really felt deep in my soul how great your reminder was that these apps literally MAKE US feel addicted because our brains rely so heavily on them. and I love that you bring that point out and gave me the reminder that my reliance on these devices and "apps" for validation isnt completely my fault!!
