Amazing to see how a single motorbike handles 7 passengers. Here in the US, you see a giant Ford F350 carrying 1 single fat man anywhere you go.

Great video. No annoying background music but just the natural sound. ❤❤

I can't believe how relaxed all the passengers look. I would be hanging on with a death grip, eyes closed, and terrified.

At first i laughed when at the terminal they told me we are riding a single motorcycle all together with my 7 friends....4 on each side with luggage....never believed the motorcycle could handle the total weight and always wondered how the driver can manuver it...but turns out its the most magical ride ive ever taken so far...unpaved road going uphill and reached out destination with no problem at all

Driver really cares for safety of his passengers. Adjusting his chain and making sure everything its working. Good job

Motorcycles in most of the world are not just recreational toys, they are workhorse vehicles that are vital to the lives of many people.

Well done to that biker - Can't be easy having to ride a bike with all that extra weight and keep good balance !

Ive ridden these bad boys for many years. The key thing to take in mind while being a passenger is to relax, don't panic, stay still and trust the driver. If you are squeamish or decide to panic, it will throw off the balance of the motorcycle. It can also cause the driver to panic and make the motorcycle wobble. I can say that this ride is not for the faint of heart.

I ride bikes alot but balancing one carrying just two passengers is an art. This guys with this wide load on two narrow wheels....this is just science of mastering challenges.

This is the best driver (and the bravest passengers) I have ever seen...

The rural scenery is like in India when I went there. But in India, the mountains are full of trash and the roads are dirt.

Traditional capitalism has been the lifeblood of East Asia for well over two-thousand years as we can see well-illustrated in today's Philippines. People cannot live without capitalism at its fundamental and basic societal existence. That is why even communist nations like Red China and Vietnam eventually had to return to capitalism in one form or another, even limited capitalism, in order for their populations to survive. Communism just cannot accomplish for mankind what traditional capitalism provides, no matter what ivory tower college professors and misguided high school teachers say on the United States East Coast.

Necessity produces creativity - the creativity of people especially in south east asia is remarkable.

This is not "habal-habal". The word habal refers to the mating act usually of a male pig behind a female pig. "Habal-habal" are the motorcycle taxi's where a passenger is the back-rider and repeating the word 'habal' means like imitating the mating act. This is actually what they call "skylab". Why? Skylab before it crashed into the ocean, had solar panels like flaps on its sides. This here, the motorcycle has seating structures on its sides making it look similar to the skylab. These are commonly found in the Agusan area of Mindanao in the Philippines. Not really very common in the Philippines. Of course they have very practical reasons for this: one, it's very cost effective, two, it can go where tricycles/tuk-tuks have a hard time going through rough roads like that at 4:25, three, it can even go through pathways too narrow for three or four wheeled vehicles. Of course the people are already experts on riding this. Notice how they all hop in at the same time at 3:38 and hop off at the same time on 5:46. Yes it can be very dangerous if even only one of of the passengers panic and jumps off. Incredible but true. Great content, thanks for the video.

Looks dangerous but his accident record is probably better than many motorbike riders here in the Philippines. No overspeeding. No reckless overtaking. He has stay onhis lane. Always making sure that the load is balanced before the trip. Driving steadily and with concentration.

The balance is the only thing that worried me, in case the road gets muddy or an animal suddenly runs across the road.

Wow, never knew this was a thing. Reminds me of the time I tipped my '78 beater Goldwing over at my gravel road mailbox (foot slipped, while stopped) I had a full 10 gallon propane tank, a 50 lb bag of dog food, both tied on outside, and the side boxes full of groceries, and I couldn't pick it back up. A local rancher stopped, helped me stand it back up, and asked me if I ever thought of getting a pickup, I told him I had one up the mountain, but save it for big loads.
