I had never really given Love2d much consideration since it seemed Godot had everything Love had and more, but I’m slowly starting to get a feel for how cool it is just to type a bunch of stuff in a notepad and make a game. I want to do this so badly. Thanks for the tutorial :)

Starting coding a game in java and realized how much it sucked working in java. I decided that Lua would probably be a significantly better option and searched for a guide on it and found you so here I am. I subscribed because Im sure I will be back and appreciate the help in this journey.

I just couldn't figure out how to make games (years of struggle) until 'first' XNA, and now Love2D was discovered. Love2D takes me back to the days of BASIC on the VIC-20 during my childhood around 1984. BASIC just made sense to me, and this is like some kind of connection to that era. Finally something makes sense.

The LÖVE is really good! Simple Lua language and very basic (object) coding makes all possible.

I realize this is an old video, but what is the purpose of the first set of empty quotation marks in the bat file? (I have no programming knowledge, explain it to me like I'm five)
