It's mentioned in the video, but just in case you missed it, there's a flashing sequence that starts around the 2 minute mark. Skip to 5:24 to get past it if it gets annoying

With absolutely every hud aspect turned off, and the difficulty cranked up, this is one of my favorite games to play for a tactical experience

I actually really enjoyed this game, especially once a lot of the bugs got ironed out. At launch this game wasn’t very good but for a tactical and immersive military shooter I would say the game is pretty decent. The open world is also diverse and interesting I would say

I enjoy the heck out of this game

My advice is this: In the game's settings disable almost all UI(aside from maybe compass) turn up difficulty - mandatory: Gear levels must be off - nothing more annoying in a modern-ish shooter than headshots that barely do damage
Set exploration to unguided

And you're more or less set
Have fun navigating a non-handholdy decent game with dope customizable weaponry, character customisation, decent gunplay and fun exploration

Hope someone gives it a try before giving up on Breakpoint, it used to be total garbage but after all those settings were introduced it became much better

Edit: For any lazy schmucks too lazy to customize their own game experience just switch to immersive mode. One click, even you all can manage that i think... Or i want to believe that you can.

this game may not be call of duty insane levels of action, but the tactics and slow paced operations are actually very fun, i loved this game, specially since i didn't buy it day one lol.

i got this game for 14 euro and have been playing it for a few days. first time, went straight to immersive-difficulty and am enjoying myself so far. it's cheesy and stupid and kinda clunky, but the gunplay feels satisfying. tons of fun bugs, not so many annoying ones.

Gunplay is great, the customization is great, the graphics look good. The survival mechanics are pretty pointless, the story is terrible and the environment is not diverse.

Honestly, I liked the final product of the game. In the beginning it sadly sucked though. :(

Your video on the other hand... perfection from the get-go.

Definitely the best tactical game series. On release breakpoint was awful but today it has a very big and detailed open world and weapons and tons of different clothes letting you create any suit you can imagine. I wonder why Ubisoft abandoned breakpoint when they finally finished shaping it. I think they should continue releasing updates or at least announce a new game similar to that one but with some improvements (yeah, I know about cancelled Frontline and mysterious OVER). This game series really need to stay alive cause there is nothing giving the similar tactical experience.

The original ghost recon score during your rant about the government was amazing

I used to play as an Echelon all the time in breakpoint I will say breakpoint isn't perfect but if you get into it and start putting work on your class it will pay off

They had a good premise. A game where you have to survive behind enemy lines by fighting off bad guys with low ammo, broken bones, finding your own food, and getting help. Typical SERE stuff. But it just doesn't work in the world they built for it. And I mean an open world RPG style game. It would have been better as a linear type game with larger open maps. But it seems like Ubisoft was trying to bank off the success of Wildlands that they wanted to keep it open world.

Then comes the problem of military advisement. Yes, they had former Green Berets advise on some aspect of the game, but it was just SOME. The equipment alone says a lot about how much Ubisoft listened to these Green Berets or even asked the right questions. Like the battle belt that every single operator likes to wear. It's practically empty with no pouches most of the time, which defeats the purpose of wearing one, other than to secure your holster to. Which is another design flaw in itself. Real world SOF units would never be caught dead with a thigh holster. And GST is supposed to be Tier 1, a fact that Ubisoft forgot about.

They are supposed to be this elite unit that has advanced technology and cloaking is standard by this time, as the game takes place 1 year after Future Soldier. But they roll in in airsoft gear, instead of their Crosscom Gear. The game was definitely survive behind enemy lines, for literally all of 4 minutes of the game. As soon as your reach Erewon, the game goes back to being wildlands, even though they were harping on how big the survival aspect is going to be. I like the customization, but I don't agree with the gear the ghosts were sent in with. It made sense in wildlands because cloaking wasn't standard yet, so they went with Tier 1 trick of blending in and that was civilian clothes that didn't scream "American Soldier" but by now, and for this mission, they seriously should have worn what they were wearing in Future Soldier.

And JSOC would NEVER send 32 Ghosts on just a recon operation. A single small undetectable team is much better. It's like the beginning of COD Ghosts with 50 Tier 1 guys fighting off 500 soldiers. Why? Who's coming up with these plans?

Didn't really like the Wolves either, design was okay, but the AI, lore and gameplay sucked. They didn't feel anymore dangerous than a regular sentinel guard. They should have unique attacks that amplifies them, like a unique and more dangerous drone swarm, gas grenades that conceal and damage so they can close distance and kill you, etc. And their "Lieutenants" boss battles were extremely boring and unmemorable.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is one of the Ghost Recon games ever made, it has a story, it has gameplay, people voice acted in it, thus making it a game

Whenever a game prominently features a popular actor in the marketing it's almost guaranteed to be garbage

"Look Jon Bernthal is in our game, you won't notice how terrible it is just look at him he's so cool!"

I bought this game when it came out. Overtime the game improved, and it's final state is much better. With it originally starting as a looter shooter type game like the division was bad.

I really tried to play this game twice, and... I mean really play it, but.. everything about it was so contraire to Wildlands. Wildlands movement was fast, BP's was slow. Wildlands had a clear-cut HUD with an easy to understand menu, BP's was a mess. Wildlands had rebels you could make use of, BP didn't. You could call in choppers anywhere for easy traversal, in BP you had to fast travel to campsites to spawn choppers. Wildlands had cute character models with cute little movements.. BP's character models were butt-ugly. Bolivia was a rich country with a diverse landscape.. Aurora was earth-gray dead. And on and on. And then there's the robots.. Meh
