There's just something about fried saimin that makes it so delicious. Maybe it's the chewy noodles, or the savory sauce. Whatever the reason, you just can't get enough of this Hawaiian style dish!

Fried Saimin Recipe
Ingredients:
2 packets saimin noodles, cooked to package directions and drained
2 eggs, fried and sliced into strips
1 tablespoon oil
¼ cup green onions, thinly sliced, reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish
1 packet dashi

Directions:
1. Add cooking oil of choice to a wok set over medium high heat. Add spam and cook for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned.
2. Next add eggs, kamaboko, and green onions, reserving some of the green onion for garnish . Stir fry for 1-2 minutes or until kamaboko has heated through.
3. Add the cooked saimin noodles to the wok and gently toss to combine.
4. To a small bowl add shoyu, oyster sauce, and dashi. Mix until well combined.
5. Add sauce mixture to the noodles and toss to combine.
6. Cook noodles to desired crispness, about 3-5 minutes.
7. Remove from heat, garnish with green onion, and serve immediately!

Looks so yummy! I use fresh yakisoba noodles with spam, shrimp, egg, green onions, garlic powder, black pepper, shoyu, oyster sauce, and a dash of sesame oil.

Eh, how come get plate. We used to eat um outta da bag from da manapua man. Also, can tell local kine cook. Use even the soup pack fo' make da fry saimi. soo ono. Now I like make fry saimin in my truck up hea on da mainland.

I'm going to suggest a sacrilege... Instead of Saimin noodles, use Udon noodles. Kine Yaki Udon 😁

I put Char Siu in mine lah dat!!! I use Yakisoba noodles instead of Saimin noodles. Saimin noodles tend to come out gummy.

For that challenge with your cutting board slipping, you can run a bead from a hot glue gun on the bottom.
