THE SECRET INGREDIENT CHINESE STOCK #SHORTS #CHICKENSTOCK #COOKING

Chinese Chicken stock recipe:
1 Chicken carcass
3.5L water
2 tbsp chicken powder
1 tbsp msg
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp white peppercorn
1 large onion
1 carrot
2 x dried squid (my secret ingredient)
2 slices ginger

Method:

1. Boil chicken bones for 10mins to remove scum

2. Wash bones under cold water

3. Boil fresh water and put cooked bones back in with ginger, carrot, onion and white pepper for 2 hours

4. Season soup with remaining ingredients and use it for all your chinese cooking!

I think this recipe is
• 1 whole chicken (about 3-4 pounds), cleaned and blanched for 5 minutes
• 1 tablespoon white peppercorns
• 2 pieces sliced ginger
• 2 large carrots
• 1 large onion
• 10 cups water
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Simmer for 2-3 hours

Ping actually made a genius move in teaching Po how to cook.
He told Po that in order to learn presumably the hardest part of his process, the secret ingredient to his soup, Po would have to become good enough at everything else.

Po spent his whole life believing that what he was doing was nothing compared to the power of this secret ingredient, so it made learning every trade secret Ping had a breeze.

Only when Po became The Broth Master worthy of praise from The Furious Five for his cooking his father knew keeping the secret from Po was no longer required, and that's what made Po realize that Oogway had this philosophy all along and wanted to pass it along on to The Dragon Warrior.

Spiritually speaking, Ping is also a Kung Fu master. That's why Oogway chose Po.

He’s technically not a liar. He only says that his secret ingredient soup doesn’t have any additional ingredients to the normal soup.

It's the clarity that's the one reason I love it. The flavour out of something to see through is something I can't believe. Usually such a delicious and clear soup takes a while to make, but not this one. Chinese Restaurants with all Chinese staff really be the pillars of America.

I’ve noticed that a solid secret ingredient can just be caring enough to season to taste fully not just salt. Taking the time to make sure everything is balanced and putting out the right amount of flavor is vital. Vegetables and meats vary based on their growing conditions and it’s different every time just a little bit but if you care and take your time it will be great
