I had no idea you’re half Filipino. Awesome! Love the recipe, I look forward to trying it.

Omg that unripe banana hack??!!! Have struggled too many times with not having ripe enough bananas for banana bread. Amazing! Thanks.

I'm not Asian myself, but I can definitely relate to acts of service as an expression of love. It's like, words are cheap and gifts are easy, but work is hard and time is expensive. I wonder if this is also a thing women are socialized into more than men? Like you couldn't stop me from making soup for a sick bf, but I'm very surprised if one even thinks to get me a pillow, lol

Hello! I’m a 14 year old aspiring baker and I loved this recipe! My brother has a milk and egg allergy so it’s difficult to find dishes that work and this worked well and tasted amazing!

I love how moist and yummy that banana bread looks. I’ll be trying that soon.

My love language has always been gift giving, I'm horrible at communication and just awkward when it comes to compliments or saying nice things. I just get little gifts for my friends, my family and everyone else I care about :]

Absolutely agree 100%. My husband is Filipino, and acts of service are our thing. Recently, we have also gotten into verbalizing “I really appreciate you” or “wow, I appreciate that thing that you did”. It creates such an additional layer of love, understanding, and recognition

My love language is the fruit of the Spirit. I want to interact with everyone I meet from that lens. Love. Joy. Peace. Long suffering. Self control. Goodness. Kindness. Gentleness. Faithfulness.

My love language has evaporated and now I shoot arrows at people to express my love and is now sexually attracted to the letter A.

For people who don't get it, I'm aroace (a combination of aromantic + asexual) and it was just a joke! ^^ Please do not get offended by it.

Oh I am definitely trying this. It's already vegan and I'm sure it will translate well to gluten free too

I have a similar ideology. I love to cook not because to make it a profession (even though I like the idea 😅) but when people eat the food and tell it's so good, the happiness I get is just so good... ❤

I'm Bengali and can relate to this. My aunt has a caring heart, but never smiles. She grew up with an unhappy childhood then marriage. I've noticed that whenever something devastating happens to a family member, she'll always cook a ton of food and send it in boxes to their house.

I have a I don't want chocolate and I just want banana bread, will it turn out fine if I skip the chocolate things? I love all your recipes, so I'd rather use yours if I can.❤

Being Filipino and eating healthy I feel is pretty hard to do, do you have vegan/healthier versions of traditional dishes?? I personally can’t give up daing na bangus and sinigang

No shade sis, but this whole style seems completely lifted from the Korean Vegan
