Easy Homemade Double Chocolate Banana Bread Recipe

This banana bread is incredibly tender, moist and flavorful, loaded with ripe bananas and chocolate chips.

INGREDIENTS
3 large ripe bananas
2 eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar (150g)
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup oil (80ml)
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (170g)
1/3 cup cocoa powder (35g)
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips or chunks (130g)

Bake for 50-60 minutes at 350°F (180°C).

I made this and it is so good! It's moist and you taste the bananas mixed with the chocolate chips with a chocolate cake aftertaste.
I do recommend using ½ cup sugar instead of ¾ cup

Edit: So. I used 4 ripe small-medium bananas, rye flour instead of all-purpose and 50g of erythritol instead of 150g sugar (so 1/3 (erythrit has 0 calories)) to make it kinda healthier 👀. Then used 30ml of coconut oil and 50ml of rapeseed oil, coz I run out of coconut one lol. I used less "sugar" because it is banana bread with sweet bananas (wow) and there's loads of not-so-dark chocolate chunks (36% cocoa (rlly sweet)), so I knew it was gonna be sweet anyway. And I was right. Sweet af lmao, didn't have to use any sugar at all. Overall it's really yummy, it has this brownie or lava cake-like very moist consistency, awesome to chew. So basically I recommend using as much sugar as me or less, depends on what chocolate and how ripe bananas u use. That's all ^~^

Tried with 1/4 cup sugar and still tasted delicious! Same as when I used 3/4 the first time.

I did also 70g chocolate (as that’s all I had) and then 60g chopped prunes and it still tastes delicious! I used coconut oil as my oil 🤤 yummy thank you!

Just made it today, and it tastes Especially the chocolate peices, i used dark chocolate (55% cocoa) and it was heavenly!! Really the best banana cake i have ever made or even tasted. Haven't tasted such a tasty cake even in breakfast buffets!!❤❤❤
