"It is, what it is" If you know someone who's uses the phrase "it is, what it is"... they are dangerous. Because they no longer allow things that are outside their control to affect them. They have mastered the art of acceptance. So if u plan to manipulate them or threaten to leave their life... guess what? They don't care. You can walk out of
their life and they will open the door for you.
And the best part when someone asks
them if "they are ok" because you left their
life. They are going to use that magical
phrase "it is, what it is."

I love this song. I hope it goes viral.

This hits me hard! It’s damn near how I been thinking and who I am. Letting go of the reigns and letting life happen is one of the hardest things to do. I been wanting to feel some sort of normal like when I was younger. I’ve lost who I was after being destroyed by people who I held close to me. I feel lost all the time and been carrying a lifetime of disappointment on my family’s faces from one bad decision to the next. All I want is to let my family be proud of me and give back twice what they gave me. There isn’t many ppl who stick around and help when your at your lowest. I got 2 sons and i know I’m not much to look up to but I still pray that I’ll be able to let them be proud to say that’s my dad! My dad took off when I was 2 so I don’t know what a father son relationship supposed to be but I do the best I can.

Wow...my life as well. I hardly believe in anything these days except the Lord...not even churches. All i used to believe in is no more. And I often ask the Lord to please bring me back to who I used to be. 70's gal

From a girl who lost her Dad in a brutal way and too young, this song hits HARD. Every lyric is a spear to the heart. Song writing at its finest. Joe Clark nails it.

I wish men would seek help from professionals when they feel so lost. Women go through the hardest phase in life during adolescence and men tend to hit the same kind of negative stride when they go through that “mid life crisis phase”. Mental health is so extremely important! And it’s more vital to acknowledge there’s a problem and actually ask for help. You don’t ever have to settle for feeling, “it is what it is”.

Love and light to all the men whose feelings resonate with this man.
