Michael Jordan Hit by a Cadillac (Common Foul)

April 29, 1990 - Midway through the third quarter of their Game 2 matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks, Michael Jordan found himself on the receiving end of a Cadillac Anderson mid-air strike, sending Jordan pancaking to the ground where he'd lay motionless through the commercial break. Alas, Jordan would soon rise and return to shoot his own two common foul free throws. He finished with 36 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists, and 5 steals in a 109-102 Bulls win.

Prior to the start of the following season, the NBA would introduce a modernized flagrant foul system that'd encourage officials to upgrade formerly common fouls that exceeded typical force, resulting in two free throws and possession. This Anderson foul, more than likely, would have been considered flagrant had it occurred one season later.
