Here's a ChatGPT summary:

- LDL cholesterol is described as a fictitious number obtained through a calculation, not a real measure of cardiovascular risk.
- Statin drugs and other cholesterol-lowering medications are highly profitable but do not effectively prevent heart disease.
- A CT heart scan can generate a cardiac calcium score, which is a better predictor of heart disease risk than cholesterol levels.
- Traditional methods like taking statins, reducing fat intake, and exercising do not significantly impact cardiac calcium scores.
- The real causes of heart disease are identifiable and correctable, often without cost, but are overlooked by the healthcare system.
- Lipoprotein testing, which measures particles in the blood, is more effective than cholesterol testing for assessing cardiovascular risk.
- Small LDL particles are more likely to penetrate artery walls and are more prone to oxidation and glycation, increasing cardiovascular risk.
- Diet, particularly the elimination of wheat, grains, and sugars, is effective in reducing small LDL particles and cardiovascular risk.
- Nutrient deficiencies, such as vitamin D, magnesium, iodine, and omega-3 fatty acids, should be addressed to improve cardiovascular health.
- The gut microbiome plays a significant role in cardiovascular health, and addressing dysbiosis can reduce insulin resistance and inflammation.
- The pharmaceutical industry and healthcare system focus on profitable treatments rather than effective prevention strategies.
- Main message: The current focus on cholesterol and statin drugs is misguided; real prevention of heart disease lies in addressing diet, nutrient deficiencies, and gut health.

Thank you so much for this interview! I was a nurse for 21 years (69-90) and left bc nothing made sense--with all the advancements in technology and new discoveries, majority of doctors did not advance so the status quo remained and no one was getting better-- just surviving on MAINTANCE DRUGS--the older the patients got, the more medications they were put on. AND there was an influx of new nurses who were not quite as dedicated as us OG nurses. The time came for me to exit stage left! I am now a Holistic Health Coach out-of-the-box. That's why what your guest is saying today is so important to me. There is a wave of change happening to planet Earth, and I am humbled to be in a position to help others sife through the BS. Thank you again! ❤

I’m a pharmacist who got sick of handing patients medications they didn’t even know why they took for, all the while not getting better. The negligence and criminal actions of the conventional medical complex along with Big Pharma is nauseating.

Jesse is being to the point and asking great questions. Dr Davis should be awarded the Nobel Prize, no joke. And every medical school must listen to and learn from him.

I'm sending this to my sister. My dad is currently declining on statins with no heart disease, no stroke. He was taught to bow down to the medical industrial complex oligarchs. It's hard to break that habit.

Dr. Davis is a wealth of information. When I saw pod cast was over 2 hours, I thought no way this would hold my attention for that time. I actually will probably watch again or at least parts, so much information.

I cut out bread, rice, noodles, potatoes, and sugar. I was 200 lbs in February 2024. I'm 158 lbs now, August 2024. My cholesterol is HIGH. My Dr. Made me sign a release because I refused cholesterol lowering meds. My A1c went down from pre-diabetes level to below pre-diabetes level. I'm a 13 year colorectal cancer survivor. I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy in 2 days. I've been eating lots of sauerkraut😊

This Cardiologist is brilliant! I worked as a CCRN for 30 years caring for all kinds of cardiac patients. My total cholesterol even at age 30 and running half marathons was always in the 259 range. But my ratio of HDl and LDL was excellent and my triglycerides have never been elevated so even though my doctors have suggested me going on a statin for the last 30 years, I refused. I did agree to take a CT for calcium check and I was clear! I just wish more of my friends would believe me! Thank you so much for reinforcing my understanding. Of course, we are prisoners of “average”, “normal” lab values and we can’t do much about that but we can try to eat healthier.

He speaks such a deep truth, it’s hard to accept what he is saying is true, but it is. We all have been so brainwashed for so long. He’s brilliant, Jesse too!

Just want to thank you for bringing Dr Davis on. I have the family cholesterol that seems to be resistant to every diet I have e tried. I refuse to take statins and when I tried to explain about the tiny ldl and the fluffy one to my dr she became angry with me I don’t think she understood what I was talking about. And then said if you don’t take the statins you are going to drop dead with a heart attack. She’s not the first dr to tell me that. I’m 75. Have had high cholesterol all my life as all my family members have. I have looked into studies about it. I have recently started to eliminate grains from my diet mainly to reduce the arthritis I suffer from so it will be interesting to see how high my cholesterol is next visit. Wonderful talk by Dr Davis. Thank you. As a side note my heart is fine

I have watched (and taken detailed notes) hundreds of Youtube videos about this topic. This one is unbelievably jam packed with incredible information unlike any other video I have seen so far.

Superb interview.

I love this Doctor. I’ve listened to dozens of Doctors discussing the realities of cholesterol - this guy is the best - knows his science but is able to explain it to non-scientific types like myself.
