I am a minimally invasive robotic surgeon in his early 40’s. When I was in medical school at Cornell, some 15 years ago, I had the pleasure to watch Dr Lee perform a CABG. He is an absolute beast. A surgical GOD, if there ever were one. He’s precise and extremely efficient. To this day, I have never witnessed anyone operate like him. He is masterful. Like poetry in motion.

Dr Lee replaced my aortic valve a year and a half ago. He is a wonderful surgeon, physician, and human being. I owe my life to him and the entire team at RWJ Barnabas Medical Center.

As an OR nurse, this doctor is pure efficient. You can tell he also treats his coworkers with respect and stays very humble.

I’m a heart clinician and just in case you don’t know, 4 cases by 4pm is incredibly fast. Especially with a double valve on the 2nd case. There are some surgeons that take until 4pm to do 1 case! Fastest surgeon I’ve ever worked with does 4 cases by 6pm. How amazing.

2:00...a standard phone call, one he probably makes a dozen times a week, to let a relative know a "minor" surgery went well...however never underestimate the relief felt by the relative on the phone. You can tell by the way the woman gasps...this guy is one of the many true heroes of this world

I am so happy!! I am a medical student and just found out that I was accepted for a placement in cardiac surgery for a uni hospital in Switzerland, literally my dream work place that I was so anxious it wouldn’t work out!! So excited for the future!!!!
