In 2018, I started my journey experimenting with tiny PCB motors that were barely useful. Fast forward to this week, and we’ve actually launched them as a product at microbots.io – and they’re genuinely useful in some niche applications!

I’ve learned so much during this journey, and you can now watch the full story in my latest YouTube video! Hope you enjoy it ✌️

People like you are why we’re at the technological point in which we are. It’s incredible seeing someone ideate something, create it, and improve upon its design in real time. I only hope for the best in your endeavors!

😂 you guys are brilliant don’t stop doing what you’re doing. I’m actually coming to Malta in the next 24 months. I have family there. I am from California. I meant to making tiny robots in programming them to play the part of Mario. Imagine just playing a video game, but it’s actually three dimensional figures moving in front of you anyways if I come up with a prototype that Lego and Nintendo would be interested in I’m going to be buying you a lot of products from you guys.

Now there is a wait to see your pcb motor in micro drones to follow humans and to deal with secret missions 😤😊, also waiting for the future missions

Six years and you’ve been developing a revolutionary technology, thin motor applications. That was further refinement and lead to breakthroughs in medical technologies robotics and entertainment

Could there be designed as steppers for positioning and holding? I’m wondering if you could manufacture them in the thousands. There is a particular application that currently utilizes thousands of custom steppers with axially stacked poles to allow for higher motor density. I think these motors have serious potential here.

Even if you drop twice what you paid for it in repairs it's still a pretty good deal. Maybe not for the average layperson, but definitely for a guy with a shop and access to tons of spare parts who enjoys doing the work.

I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with the new ugga dugga. I'm partial to teal tools but that lil red one has some beans!

this is the start of silent motors AND AM READY FOR IT.

How is the torque and positional accuracy at very slow speeds? Could it be used as a very cheap motorized potentiometer?

Very cool! Do you think it is possible to print an entire drone as a PCB with these motors? Are they strong enough?

Can you make a flipdot matrix display with this(color half in black and add a case to half part, so rotate to hide and show)

also, 3d grid would be awesome (it holds a screw)

Did you take inspiration from sony's design?
