In today's NBA game, if a team is hitting three pointers and blowing a team out and the team that is being blown out is not making three point shots, it is almost impossible to think that you can win, in my opinion.

SAS missed the point about being deflated when the other team makes consecutive shots.

It’s hard to continue to defend with utmost intensity if you know you’ve been working hard and yet the other team just makes shots out of nowhere. As time goes by you won’t be able to defend as effectively as you did because from a mental standpoint you won’t be able to do anything.

Easier said than done. And this is why players feel pundits talk too much.
