Fable II is a 2008 action role-playing open world video game, the second installment in the Fable game series, and the sequel to 2004's Fable. The story takes place within the fictional land of Albion, 500 years after the first game. Players assume the role of a young hero who is destined to stop a former ruler turned madman from destroying the world. The game features several prominent actors portraying major characters in the game, including Zoë Wanamaker, Ron Glass and Stephen Fry.

for those who havn't played the game, if you do goofy emotes during the funeral scene, you can hear the monks badly trying to supress their giggeling and laughter, similar to the Biggus Diccus scene in "The live of Brian"

Long but worth the read.

My friend and I were doing a playthrough of Fable 3. In that game the cutscenes are live. So while I (The king at that time) was getting married he started to cheer and shoot into the sky. Thanks to the aiming in that game he shot my wife in the head as we kissed and every NPC start to scream and panic. After the cutscene I got a notice that my child (Who's mother is now dead) is being taken away due to domestic violence.

A few day later we were playing again and I got remarried. I went into bowerstone when a voice from behind us shouted "Daddy" there he was. The child who was taken from be but now a young boy with a pacifier above his head showing that he was indeed my child. He was an orphan and I was able to adopt him so I did.

When I tried to move him into the castle my new wife said she would leave if the child of another woman lived there. I already had a second kid and didn't want them to be taken away either so I ended up buying a house and hiring a nanny to take care of my son in secret.

10/10 would let him shoot my wife again.

Ugh, this reminds me of when I found a great potential wife on this game, was going great but she was immediately murdered by bandits . I was so casually immersed and this made me suddenly snap out of it and go thru the 5 stages of grief

When you're done, I can finally finish my reaction video that I've been making once per year in which I age 27 years over the course of it while watching you play Fable.
It'll be big in 2044, trust me.

Not sure if anyone has said this yet, but the giant spoon @ 23:02 is is actually a device used by servants in wealthy families to warm up the bed during the winter months. You'd fill it with hot coals and spread it across the bed. It was also pretty good at combatting bed bugs.

The marriage quest at the start has a 3rd less obvious ending, if you kill Alex before marrying her she'll appear at her jilted lover and they'll live happily ever after.
