Seth is looking for a special birthday present for his mother. While shopping at the mall, he goes into a French boutique and starts browsing. The manager, Linda, sees him and is immediately suspicious. While attending another customer, Linda remembers a shoplifting incident that occurred at the mall and wrongly assumes Seth is the perpetrator. Determined to take matters into her own hands, Linda tricks Seth and locks him in a bathroom. Unfortunately for Linda, not only is Seth innocent and she wrongly imprisoned an innocent man, but her other customer just so happens to be Mango Park Police Officer Elizabeth Madison.

As Officer Madison promised the Karen, she had to pay a $5, 000 fine, and was sentenced to prison for 5 years. During her time in prison, the higher up in the store company fired her and permanently banned her from all store locations.
